The Charrette is not intended to facilitate or otherwise address the ongoing Urban Center designation review process by the Snohomish County Council.
The Richmond Beach Community Association, in partnership with the City of Shoreline, is proud to sponsor the Point Wells Charrette. The Charrette is a public participation event that uses a brief and intense creative process to empower non-designers to articulate and illustrate potential outcomes. This is an opportunity for members of the community to work with volunteer design professionals, who will help residents express potential alternatives for Point Wells based on their visions for the site. A light working lunch will be provided for Charrette participants.
We hope the effort will lead to a document for the communication of the Charrette ideas to our elected officials, our neighbors in Snohomish County, and the property owner.
The Richmond Beach Community Association is a sponsor of the event only, and the outcome of the Charrette will not represent the views of RBCA relative to the future of Point Wells. The Charette is merely one opportunity residents will have to provide input into a future vision for Point Wells. RBCA stands committed to keeping the community informed and providing an open forum for residents to express their concerns and points of view.
